STARTING POINT ZAGREB

DAY 1: ZAGREB 
Meeting with local guide at Zagreb airport, transfer by bus to the hotel in the capital city.
Overnight.
DAY 2: ZAGREB – TRAKOŠĆAN – VARAŽDIN - ZAGREB
A magnificent journey to the medieval Croatian past awaits for us after breakfast. We will visit the most famous castles in this region. Our first stop will lead us to Trakošćan Castle.  This castle stands on the top of a hill in a fairytale landscape since the 13th century. After visit of the castle, we move on to the Varažadin city. The city also known as "Little Viena" enchants everyone with its feudal castle and center filled with flower sand buildings with baroque influence. We return to Zagreb for overnight afterwards.

DAY 3: ZAGREB - OPATIJA
After breakfast sightseeing of the capital of Croatia. A panoramic drive followed by a guided tour on foot is the best way to see the old center formed from the junction of the medieval towns formerly known as Kaptol and Gradec. We can see the cathedral of St. Stephen, the Dolac Market, The Parliament, the Government Palace and the famous church of St. Mark. Later departure toward Opatija - Rijeka for overnight.

DAY 4: OPATIJA - MOTOVUN - ROVINJ - PULA - OPATIJA
Today a day to see the most special and famous towns in Istria, the largest peninsula in this part of the Adriatic. First stop in the picturesque medieval town of Motovun. Located on the top of a hill and surrounded by vineyards, Motovun has a landscape that reminds us of Tuscany, Italy.
After visiting the town of Motovun, we head to the beautiful town of Rovinj. This beautiful coastal town enchants with its narrow streets and the imposing cathedral of St. Euphemia. After the visit it is possible to have lunch at a local restaurant. In our next destination the presence of the Roman Empire in the past is evident. The city of Pula has one of the best preserved amphitheaters in the world. Besides visiting the Arena, it is also possible to see the Arch of Sergius, the Temple of Augustus and the Hercules Port.
Return to Opatija for overnight.

DAY 5: OPATIJA – ZADAR – TROGIR - SPLIT
Breakfast followed by a trip to south, to Dalmatia. First stop at the city of Zadar where one can see the Roman Forum, the medieval church of St. Donat, the beautiful main street Kalelarga and the Sea Organ, a modern building that produces unique sounds through the action of sea and wind. Some free time in Zadar and we go further south, where we will stop in Trogir, a small medieval town, patrimony of humanity by UNESCO.
Overnight in the Split area.

DAY 6: SPLIT - DUBROVNIK
After breakfast, it's time to visit Split. The second biggest city in Croatia, Split has great historical importance. 
Formed within the walls of the ancient Palace of Emperor Diocletian, the old town still keeps much of its original structure. The walls were the basis for the construction of the ancient city and to this day it is inhabited by local people. At the Palace complex you can find the Cathedral of St. Dominus, the Peristil and the temple of Jupiter. Then we move to the southern part of Croatia, to the most famous and beautiful city of Dubrovnik for overnight.

DAY 7: DUBROVNIK
After breakfast the highlight of Croatia, Dubrovnik. The city is surrounded by its perfectly preserved walls. Suspended over a rock, it is surrounded by perfectly preserved walls and bathed by the Adriatic Sea. It is a privilege to walk around the old town whose historic center is conserved intact and is a jewel of world heritage. The Squadrun Square, the Pile and Ploče gate, the Rector's Palace, the Church of St. Blaise and the oldest pharmacy in the world are some of the interesting tourist points at the site. It is possible to organize a boat trip to see the walls from the sea or an afternoon excursion to the Elafiti Islands.
Overnight in Dubrovnik.

DAY 8: DUBROVNIK
Breakfast and transfer to the airport.
