Trieste is a harbor town with the long commercial tradition and has always been an important transitory place. It was the melting pot of different cultures, nations and religions.

We are going to visit the old St. Giusto church next to the medieval castle with a beautiful panoramic view, as well as the romantic garden of the Miramare castle situated on steep rocks next to the sea - a love nest of emperor Maximilian of Hapsburg and the Belgian princess Charlotte. Trieste can be also called the "city of coffee", known for the production of excellent coffee and is one of the Italian cities known for the highest consumption of this drink.
