Visit Brijuni islands the only one national park on the Istrian peninsula with its 14 islands. They are at the same time the most nteresting and indented group of islands in the region with the abundance of green landscape. Posh summer resort, which had attracted and still attracts jet-set people. Here was the official residence of Yugoslav president Tito as well.
A full day tour. Possible to combine Brijuni islands with the visit of some other towns such as Pula or Rovinj.
The bus ride along the sunny Riviera from Opatija and southern part of Istrian peninsula to Fazana. Sea crossing by boat. Sightseeing of the island’s natural beauty and cultural heritage accompanied by a specialised guide by train and on feet. Byzantine Castrum, Roman country residence, an olive tree from IV A.D., safari park, photo exhibition “Tito on Brijuni” are among of them. Free time and return to Opatija. Possibility to organize a lunch.
